Established in 1969 , Samurai Gallery Shingendo is one of the long-established japanese sword shop in Japan.

I started studying Japanese swords under Mr.Suematsu Ikeda since my junior high school days. After that I ‘ve learned much knowledge of Japnese swords  from  Japanese swords dealer Mr. Mitsuo Shibata, Togi-shi(polisher) Mr.Matsuo Fujishiro, Mr.Shigeo Fukushi and Mr. Masayuki Sasaki. Over 50 years have passed since I have been appraising value of Japanese swords.

I believe that to study Japanese swords leads to know japaneses history and various japanese arts. The  beauty of blades of japanese swords and the outstanding design of Japanese swords fittings are the traditional art which we should be very proud of.

We all the time display Japanese swords, Japanese sword fittings  kawari kabutos and armors  in our Samurai Gallery SHINGENDO which is locate near Kanda station in Tokyo as to easy  access.
